Self Care Salon

One of the things that's happening this month that's different from others is that Stacy is hosting a book salon--for the reading, discussing and learning from Cheryl Richardson's fabulous best seller--Take Time for Your Life.

Over nine weeks, she'll be facilitating a weekly call, and creating a community space online where the guests of the salon can support each other as they work with and integrate ideas and concepts from the book.

Stacy shares these details:

What: We’ll be reading Take Time for Your Life, by Cheryl Richardson. This book is a fabulous guide to living a terrific life. If you need a copy, that link takes you to Amazon. The book should also be available locally at larger bookstores like BN, and Borders. You’ll want to get one quickly, though, because there’s reading to be done before our first call!!

When: Mondays, 5p ET for 90 minutes beginning 1/11/10, and running for nine weeks–we’ll be reading one chapter each week! In case you’re hearing about this after we begin, you can join us at any time. Just register and get started!

Where: Bridge number to be emailed directly to registered participants. Link to our community will also be provided to participants

Group format: We’ll be meeting in a group by phone each week. I believe in following the energy of the group, so while we’ll want to stay focused on the subjects covered by the particular chapter we’re discussing, what we talk about each time can (and probably will) be very different.

By Wednesday of the week before each call, I’ll create a blog post to our community space about some aspect of the chapter we’re reading. Participants can feel free to comment on what I’ve shared, or share their own observations. And, in between our calls, they are free to use the comments of the associated chapter’s post to share ideas, ask for support, reach out–whatever they need to help them get the most out of our time together and the great information in Take Time!

By Wednesday of the week of each call (so, two days after each call), I’ll post the streaming audio to our community space so that you can listen back if you’d like. That way you can be completely present on our calls and won’t have to try to take notes!

For the call on 2/15: Read Chapter 6 (Build a Soulful Community)  and check out the resources

For the call on 2/22: Read Chapter 7 (Honor Your Spiritual Well Being)  and check out the resources

For the call on 3/1: Reach Chapter 8 (Your New Life) and check out the resources

For the call on 3/8: This is a wrap up call–no reading assigned, but do come to the call having thought about the journey you’ve been taking with us, what you’ve changed in your life, and what next steps you’ll want to take.
